NEW Video: BirthdaysFinally finished. Please enjoy the next instalment of BorgKingKong's fun loving clips that make you feel all fluffy inside....
Note: I've actually re-edited the clip as the 1st one was just too diffused..
Labels: Videography, YouTube
Happy Belated Birthday!
Definetly stirred up the fuzz...I think its very important that one captures these moments as they grow up so fast! I am definetly slacking with the more children I have! :)
Real cute ... I've small kids too so it's kinda of very touchy so to speak ... was that intentionally made blurry to fuzz us up ...
I've decided it was too fuzzy and diffused and losing alot of details form the video, so I went back and changed the settings a bit. YouTube is not the best place to showcase your work unfortunately but it is the most convenient and readily accessible.
I think it's too blurry ..... the musice and overall directing is good but I can't see summer clear enough ! : P made me a bit teary watching it though
Great intimate atmosphere, gentle editing, great adapter.
A VERY big thank you Alessandro.. coming from a director, that is a very huge compliment... :)
Aww Happy Birthday Summer :) cuteness personified! Personally, I think the fuzzyness adds so much to the overall presentation. Transports you to another place, I'd say. On another note, I'd be interesed to see you do some dynamic/dramatic/stormy/gale pieces, with bach/tchaikovsky, perhaps? xxw
yes widari, doing something stormy, dark, grungy etc is in the pipeline. It doesn't come as naturally as say fluffy stuff so need more headwork! Will be on hiatus during the Xmas break but may update while in Taiwan!
Brilliant! I can be guilty for working within my comfort zone as well, which I try to disguise as being my 'style' but really its a cop out. So I understand the torment of going outside.. hence the earlier comment ;) have a good time in Taiwan and a Merry Christmas xxw
When Ang Lee made the Incredible Hulk, he defintely went outside of his comfort znoe to try something new. Unfortunately it did not work out as well as he thought it would and the criticisms he received hurt him a fair bit. But I guess in some way it helped him re-tune back to his strength and what do you know? He wins an Oscar for BrokeBack Mountain - his genre and the type of films that made him famous in the first place. There is definitely something there about exploring new ways of doing things, but I think doing something out of the box is also a journey to rediscover your own strengths. I am definitely going to do some dark pieces, but waiting for that inspirational moment when I can see everything in my head clearly.
