I read this excerpt from a book a few weeks ago, and have decided I should share it with the world. It is an inspirational quote from Mother Teresa and it deals with how we handle ourselves even if the world has beaten the crap and bollocks out of us.People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self- centred;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends;
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world your best anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.
So the next time you feel like your boss has dead-ended your career or you think just because of the colour of your skin you're discriminated and can't progress in life, do your best anyway, cos giving in would be a cop out to your God-given potential..
